Somerset Holidays  -    Self catering Holiday Cottage for group accommodation and four  log cabins with hot tubs are ideally situated when visiting Wells Cathedral in Somerset. Ideal for couples on a romantic weekend, family gatherings, large groups, mid week booster breaks, and of course the week long holiday.

Wells, the smallest city in England, with its magnificent cathedral, is just a 15-minute drive from our Farm along the A371.

Wells Cathedral is a vibrant, busy place. In addition to hundreds of thousands of visitors, it is a  host to a wide variety of events, concerts and services. These vary in scale from intimate supper concerts to huge services and national broadcasts.

Stained Glass Walk

Window of the Month talks take place from April to the end of October on Wednesdays at 10.40 and 11.10 am and Saturdays at 11.15 am.


PS It is probably a good idea to check with the Office (01749 674483) that these talks are still scheduled.

Cathedral Restaurant

The Cathedral's Cafe and Restaurant are located on the first floor (approached by stairs or a lift) in a modern and comfortable setting. With views over the West Front and the Bishop's Palace, it serves coffees and teas, cakes scones and teacakes and, with a wide selection of lunch dishes from paninis and children's boxes to a three course meal, it caters for all visitors' needs. All the food is prepared on the premises using locally sourced produce wherever possible. It is  a counter service licensed restaurant and can accommodate up to 96 people.
